Farm ATVs, a division of Autokiwi Ltd
has been importing motor vehicles to New Zealand since 2004.

We started importing new ATV bikes from the US in 2006 to assist another bike shop who needed new stock to meet farmer demand.

In 2017 while supplying a new ute to a Waikato farmer, the topic of ATV’s was raised, and that he needed three replacements. Other farmers have also asked about ATV’s and UTV’s and the need to save expenditure in the current climate of reducing returns. So we have researched the market and re-established contacts to source product from multiple sources and locations for both new/un-used and late model very low hour used ATV’s and UTV’s.

Our aim is to help farmers save money on their next quad bike investment, or to move up from a lower quality brand into a premium brand bike for less.

Originally set up to source car yard stock for a few dealerships on Auckland’s North Shore, the pace of sales increased steadily in the following years, which allowed further expansion and resources to become a regular supplier of stock to Turners Auctions Ltd.

The Director of Autokiwi Ltd, John Tucker is a veteran of the Motor Vehicle Industry with over 30 years experience with some of the world’s best known fleet operators.

Johns’ parents had been farmers in South Waikato when he was born, and then moved to run a rural general store in the Lower North. A neighbouring business was a garage that also sold Honda farm bikes and Fiat tractors. John was always to be found helping out in the workshop, fixing punctures and assembling new Hondas, as they were supplied as CKD kits.

A career starting with Avis Rent-A-Car in the UK during the 1980′s led to a role as the Purchasing Manager for Avis Lease in Auckland.

This company was purchased by ANZ Bank and renamed Esanda Fleet Partners in the mid 1990′s, with John at the forefront of purchasing both new and used vehicles for fleet, rental and leasing use.

At the time of leaving to set up his own business, John had been responsible for the purchase of approximately 50,000 vehicles, no mean feat!

Autokiwi Ltd sources most vehicles by volume directly from a number of strategically located suppliers in Japan.
In addition, premium late model vehicles are also sourced from the UK where we have excellent contacts, in both new and near new vehicles as well as from the fleet sector.

Not only do we deal with Cars, but we have considerable experience with Vans, Utes, Light Trucks, Buses, ATV’s, Motorbikes as well as Golf Carts!

The Australian market also presents some opportunities from time to time to find stock well below normal market value, and we have a number of experts located in the U.S. who assist in finding that classic car you’ve always dreamed about.We also regularly export vehicles for customers based throughout the South Pacific area.
